/slip coated pots

These pots are thrown using low fire clay. Once the pot has dried enough it is dipped in a white slip. Once the slip has cured enough, I paint and carve on my designs using underglazes for the colors. Then the pot is bisque fired. Some pots I finish by coating the entire pot with a clear glaze and do a final low fire glaze in the kiln. Others, I only clear glaze on the inside, before running a final low fire glaze.
